Park Community Federal Credit Union
A full-service financial institution, helping our members fulfill every financial goal. As a Park member, you don’t have to shop around, because we always offer the most competitive deals. History
In 1965, the credit union was established to serve the employees of General Electric’s Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky, hence the name “Park” Federal Credit Union. Park continued to grow over the years to serve GE employees in other states, and eventually Park expanded its services to over 500 Select Employment Groups (SEGs) in addition to GE employees. In 2003, Park was approved to become a Community Charted Credit Union, opening its doors to anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school, or volunteers in the nine-county Louisville Metro Area*. With its new focus on serving the community, Park received a new name: Park Community Federal Credit Union. In addition to the Louisville Metro Area, Park also offers membership to select counties and areas in Berea, Lexington, and Richmond in Kentucky, Decatur, AL, and Macon, GA.

Once a Member, Always a Member
As long as your account remains active, Park Community believes in the philosophy, “Once a member, always a member.” That means if you move, change employers, etc., there is no need to close your account, nor will we close it. We value your business, and we will always provide you with credit union services if your account remains active.
