Statement Delay (added July 9, 2010)
Due to changes in Federal Regulation Z, the Truth in Lending Regulation, all financial institutions were required to make changes to their statements.  These changes have caused delays with our statement processor, but they are working diligently to get our statements mailed in a timely manner.  We were assured that our statements will be ready to be mailed by July 10th.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  To expedite receipt of your statement, you may want to consider free eStatements, which are available online approximately one week sooner than traditional paper statements.

Notice concerning Gasoline Purchases
We have noticed that some gasoline stations are holding between $75.00 and $100.00 on purchases when you pay for gasoline using your Debit Card with your PIN#.  The stations holding these funds have caused some accounts to be overdrawn. 

In order to avoid this:

• Select the Credit option on the pump and swipe your Debit Card as you normally would and your transaction will proceed the same as if you were using your card and signing the receipt. 
• Select Debit and when the machine asks for your PIN# select Cancel and it will automatically accept your transaction as a signature based transaction. 

 Tip:  Using your card this way will qualify as one of your signature based transactions if you have a Hi Checking account.
