Park Community Credit Union Spin-Off FAQ’s
Due to the upcoming spin off of the Macon branches, access to your debit card will be unavailable for a brief period from Thursday, March 31st until early morning on April 1st.
It is our intent to provide access to your card until approximately 10:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011 with continued access on Friday morning, April 1, 2011 as a new Robins Federal Credit Union member.
In preparation of the merger Park Community Credit Union branches will no longer be taking new loan requests or membership applications beginning February 4th. If you need to apply for a new loan or want to join the credit union please visit one of the Robins Federal Credit Union locations. They will be happy to help with any of your needs.
The Macon membership voted overwhelmingly in favor of the spin-off to Robins Federal Credit Union.
Park Community made a business decision to concentrate growth in the Louisville market and the areas that are closer to Kentucky. Park Community worked diligently to find a conversion partner with the same service philosophies as Park Community and who offered the same great products. Additionally, Robins Federal has many more offices to serve you and even more free ATM’s.
No. All accounts identified as part of the spin-off group will be automatically transferred to Robins Federal.
No, you will need to wait until the certificate matures. Keep in mind, the rate you have now is most likely higher than what is available in the market today. Plus, Park CFCU encourages you to give Robins Federal a chance to impress you with their level of service and the product line they have to offer.
Existing Robins Federal members will not be assigned new member numbers. Your Park CFCU accounts will be moved to your existing account at Robins Federal. If you have multiple deposit products they will remain separate, but you can choose to combine them after the spin-off takes place by contacting Robins Federal directly.
You will continue to contact Park CFCU until April 1st, at which time you will begin to contact Robins Federal.
Robins Federal will continue to hold your loan under the original agreement you have with Park CFCU. This means your rates, terms; payments, etc. will remain the same. You will just make payments to Robins Federal instead of Park CFCU.
VISA card offered by Park CFCU is with a third party vendor and will remain unchanged. Payments and questions should still be addressed with them directly.
On April 1st, you will stop using your Park CFCU debit card/checks. Robins Federal will be issuing you a new account number, new checks, and a new debit card prior to the conversion. On April 1st, you will begin using your new Robins Federal checks and debit card. Park CFCU and Robins Federal will be working together to make sure any outstanding items clear your new account at Robins Federal.

You will be receiving additional information from Robins Federal regarding this in the coming weeks.
There will be a short period during the conversion that you will not have debit card access. You will not be able to use your Park CFCU after 10:00 PM on March 31. You can begin to use your Robins Federal card April 1 at 8 AM.
You will be able to access your new Robins Federal account at any Robins Federal branch location. You can also access your account anytime via Robins Federal’s FREE Online or Mobile Banking. In addition you will have access to over 2,200 surcharge free ATMs nationwide. (For a listing of all available ATM’s visit Robins Federal’s website.)
Yes, it will change to Robins Federal’s routing number which is 261171587. You will need this routing information to change any direct deposits or automatic payments to your new Robins Federal account. You will also be getting additional information from Robins Federal on how to make these changes. Both Robins Federal and Park CFCU will be available to assist you.
That will depend on the originator however, Park CFCU and Robins Federal will work together to coordinate the timing so that you will not have problems with your direct deposit posting to your account.

Robins offers Safe Deposit Boxes at most of its Bibb County locations. Park CFCU members that are interested can receive pricing, sizing and availability by contacting Robins Federal’s call center or visiting the branch.
Due to the proximity of Robins Federal’s Log Cabin location, they have made a business decision to close the Eisenhower branch. Robins Federal offers 19 branch locations, including 5 convenient locations in Macon.

Robins Federal offers several types of checking accounts including interest bearing checking products. While Robins Federal does not offer every type of account that is offered at Park CFCU they will transfer you to the account that best matches what you currently have. More information on account types will be sent to you within the next several weeks.
Robins Federal does offer UTMA (custodian) accounts. All Park accounts currently designated as UTMA accounts will be transferred over as such. All certificates, cerKidicate or other, will be transferred over at the same rate and maturity.
Starting February 1st - Robins Federal will have a spin-off information section on the home page of their website. Anyone can go there to see all communication that has been sent out or shared regarding the spin-off.
